5.  Lutein and Zeaxanthin

Lutein and zeaxanthin are cartenoids.  These cartenoids are found in the eye to protect against blue light reaching the retina and causing oxidative damage.  These cartenoids help to reduce age related macular degeneration.

6.  Omega 3 Fatty Acids

Omega 3 fatty acids are found in the cell membranes of the retina.  They have anti inflammatory properties that may help to prevent diabetic retinopathy any dry eyes.
