What are Varifocal Lenses ?

The varifocals work by providing a gradual change of focal power from top of the lens to the bottom of the lens.  The outer edge of the lens is where you may see peripheral distortion. This is normal due to how the lens is manufactured.  The more premium the varifocal the lesser the distortion at the sides.
